The Fool within the Major Arcana is quite often a misunderstood
character; everyone thinks of the multi coloured, bell-carrying idiot that kept medieval courts entertained. Whilst forgetting the Fool could go everywhere and dispense wisdom to a Lord or King, and not have their head chopped off! The Fool is about energy, new beginnings, and boldness, rising to the challenge. It is also the start of the journey; embrace it.
The interest in Tarot and all things spiritual has grown considerably, especially since the pandemic, which made us revisit what is important.
Sadly, the rise of some aspects of social media has kept the special magic of the Major Arcana at a high level and ignored the unique messages each of the cards gives us, regarding our journey and the potential challenges that may arise along the way. Taking time to understand the history of the Major Arcana and archetypes, the individual cards will bring the guidance you seek that is much more relevant to you.
If you are learning tarot, start with the Major Arcana, allow the cards to speak to you, and progress to the Minor Arcana and more complex spreads. Try reading them with Oracle or Crystal cards and allow yourself to have a wide variety of information that will delight you when it all fits together and makes sense.
